FLOW OF THE DAY /ITINERARY:
This year there is no set up needed for Science Day. To make things easier for everyone, each project will be assigned a particular judging session. Notification of which session you are assigned to will be emailed by approximately midday on Friday, March 15th. Please arrive no later than 8:50 am for the 9 am session and no later than 10:15 am for the 10:30 am session. (Please note that some persons assigned to the first session might not actually be judged until after 10:30 am.- it depends on the speed at which the judges score projects. We humbly ask for your patience please.) Once you have signed in at the registration table, you may take a seat in the gymnasium. Please be in the gym for the beginning of your judging session and stay in the gym until your project is called.
Participants will be called by the Master of Ceremonies to their judge table to present their project. Please bring your laptop or trifold poster to the judge table along with your lab notebook and/or research paper. Once your project is judged you may be asked to go to special judging that is required for some awards. Once all of your judging is complete, the Master of Ceremonies will release you until the Awards Ceremony.
Once you have presented your project for both points and for awards (if needed), you are free to leave the building until the award ceremony. The Awards Ceremony is expected to start at ~2:30 pm and will take place in the gym.
WHAT TO BRING:
Your presentation (digital slide show OR tri-fold poster)
Your lab notebook and research paper
Snacks (there are vending machines, but I don't know how well stocked they are)
